Dr. Finneran has been in private practice as a family physician in Wadsworth, Ohio since 1986. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, he completed his undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University and received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency training at Akron City Hospital (Summa Health Systems) and is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics.  

Dr. Finneran has been actively involved in clinical research as a principal investigator on numerous phase 2, 3, and 4 trials since 1998. Dr. Finneran’s areas of clinical interest include, but are not limited to the treatment of ADHD, anxiety disorders, cardiovascular disease, depression, diabetes, infectious disease, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, overactive bladder and vaccines. Dr. Finneran currently resides in Wadsworth with his wife.

Emily Cheich has been practicing medicine as a family physician since 2009. Originally from New London, Ohio, she completed her undergraduate studies in human nutrition at The Ohio State University and received her medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. She completed her family medicine residency training at Akron City Hospital (Summa Health Systems) and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Cheich is also certified in the area of Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. She has been involved in clinical research as a sub-investigator to Dr. Finneran on phase 2 and 3 trials since 2014.  Dr. Cheich resides in Akron with her husband and their three young children.

Joshua Raines has been practicing medicine since 2010 and is originally from Warren, Ohio. He has an undergraduate degree in Biology from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. He received his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency training at Akron City Hospital (Summa Health Systems). Dr. Raines is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. He has been involved in clinical research as a sub-investigator to Dr. Finneran on phase 2 and 3 trials since 2014. Dr. Raines currently resides in Wadsworth with his wife and two young children.

Lori Treiber has been a Registered Nurse since 1988 and is originally from Canton, Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kent State University and practiced as a Registered Nurse in the Regional Burn Center at Akron Children’s Hospital until 1990, when she began a 10 year career in Home Health Care as a Field Nurse and in various Supervisory positions. She returned to the Burn Center in 2000. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing at Malone College, in Canton, Ohio and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2006. She has been involved in clinical research as a sub-investigator to Dr. Finneran since 2014.  Lori currently resides in Brunswick with her husband.  They have five children and one granddaughter.

Meredith Norman has been a clinical research coordinator since 2006 and is originally from Barberton, Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Bowling Green State University.  She has been involved in clinical research as a clinical research coordinator and Director of Clinical Trials for Dr. Finneran since 2006. She has been involved in several therapeutic areas including treatment of ADHD, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, infectious disease, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, overactive bladder and vaccines.  Meredith currently resides in Barberton with her husband and two young daughters.

Jessica Grable has been a medical assistant since 2008 and is originally from Akron, Ohio. She has been involved in clinical research as a clinical research coordinator to Dr. Finneran since 2008. She has been involved in several therapeutic areas including treatment of ADHD, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, overactive bladder and vaccines. Jessica currently resides in Akron with her husband and their young daughter.

Patricia A. Walker has been a licensed practical nurse since 1979 and is originally from Barberton, Ohio. Her nursing career began with Dr. Finneran in his private practice in 1986 until she joined Infectious Disease Research (Summa Health System) in 1991 as a research assistant and eventually to a clinical research nurse. She returned to Dr. Finneran’s practice in 1998 where she took on the role of clinical research coordinator. She has been involved in several therapeutic areas including treatment of ADHD, anxiety disorders, cardiovascular disease, depression, diabetes, infectious disease, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, overactive bladder and vaccines. Pat currently resides in Norton with her husband and her Sheltie, Maggie. They have two adult children and four grandchildren.
